Razorcake’s 10th anniversary issue is out now. Gateway District, one of my favorite bands from the last few years, is featured on the cover.

I’ve been writing for Razorcake in one way or another for 5 years, going all the way back to the online column I wrote on a monthly basis back in 2006 and 2007. Now I mostly just write reviews. Check out my new ones:

After more than four years, the new issue of Freak Tension is out now.

It features interviews with Dresden and the former singer of the Misfits, as well as tons of reviews (which aren’t really reviews at all, by the way). I also threw in an excerpt from “Record Collector Scum.” And all sorts of fun and games. To top it off, it’s got cover art by the great Bill Hauser. This is probably the best issue ever. I’m ultra psyched about this. The new In Defence CD is out. Not only is it a fucking amazing piece of modern thrashcore, it features the song, “…And Toxic Justice for All,” about everyone’s favorite Troma superstar. I co-wrote the lyrics.
