Unicorn Wasteland
“Just utterly stunning” – Lit Reactor
A young woman climbs atop her unicorn, leaves behind the only home she has ever known and sets off into a desert wasteland, dragging a wooden coffin behind her. Unicorn Wasteland is a queer, postapocalyptic western that explores concepts of family and transgender identities against a backdrop of toxic sludge, feral mutants, greedy cannibals and sunburned scoundrels. Heavily inspired by Sergio Corbucci’s Django, Unicorn Wasteland draws elements from fantasy, horror, sci-fi and bizarro fiction.
